Interview!!
1)Tell us a little about yourself (age, where u represent, and nationality)
1. Im 22, Im from a little town called Stockton livin on the West Side
in a hood called Louis Park. My nat. is Cambodian, Thai, Chinese (Asian).
2) what does Tighteyez mean?
2. Tighteyez to me means Asian Pride and thats real.
3)How did you come up with that name?
3. The name came from one of my songs I wrote called " Recognize". Its
to represent my nationality, my peoples that get put down because we're
different, for all the peoples that walk around gettin put down by the
way their eyes are slanted or just because their english isnt perfect.

4)When did you start in the music business?
4.I started in 1999. After the death of my mother, I started written music
straight from the heart and peeps seem to notice that I had a way to express
myself through music. From then on I started pursing this little dream
hoping its gonna help me find my purpose in life.
5)Who influenced you?
5. Close friends, relatives, my little angel, baby Jazzi (Jazmene). My
number one reasons. Thats all.
6)How far do you want to get in the music industry?
6. How far? As far as the sky and higher.
7)How far do you think you are now?
7. Well right now Im farther then I was yesterday, feel me? Im farther
then I ever was in my life period. Besides being a father, this is the
only proud thing I've ever done in my life. Thats how far I am.
8)Are there any collaborations in the works that we should be looking
out for?
8. Well I've done music with another artist "GB". We did a song called
" What happen to game?" I've done songs with a group called "OneMind",
we did a song called " Sippen on some Hennessey", I did one wit Young
Gatt and Gravesite called "At Night" who are also Triple9records artist
to. Other then that thats it.
9)What is your latest track/ablum that you've recorded?
9.Well the latest song I recorded was a song called " Neva let time past
by".
10)Tell us about it.
10. I wrote this song based on young kids now a days who waste their time
doing nothing. Im just tellin them that they need to get up and do something
with their lives cause times to precious to waste. We all have to understand
that although we have it rough, theres someone out there that has it harder.
If you dont strive for what you want, then your not gonna get no where.
Stay on the hustle ya'll, it takes time to get where you wanna get. Have
patients. Dont let the world and its rule break you down. For reals!
11)How many tracks have you recorded so far?
11. Well I've only recorded two for now. But Im hoping to get back in
the studio and finishing up my first project.Its called " Give It Up".

12)what kind of equipments do you use on your recording if any?
12. Well your gonna have to talk to who ever produces my tracks about
that. (Laugh) So far L.O.S. produced some of my tracks.
13)What was your first time performing on stage?
13. My first time performing was in Modesto when Triple 9 had that little
show on the ninth of march. Other then that, no where else besides the
streets of the ghetto.
14)do you think fame will change who you are?
14 Nobody knows until they get there. Some people say that it wont but
when fame hits them the flip the script. To me, I think it will change
my attitude about life a little more. Im already seeing changes. I think
it will make me feel good cause maybe then, I for once can put food on
the table.
15)so whats ur feeling towards Asian music industry and their role
in spreading the Asian music community?
15. I feel, just like everbody else, I wanna be heard. Hear me out. Listen
to my pain and struggles. Asian folks aint getting the respect that we
deserve. But let me tell you this, if they wont give it, we gone have
to take it!
16)Do you listen to other Asian Artists?
16. I see platinum plus, awards, music videos, and doing tour doing live
concerts. The best feeling is to perform.
17)what's your feeling toward the future of Asians in the mainstream
market?
17. Well if any, I just wanna say Im glad ya'll felt my music. Doing music
is just a way for me to free my soul. For those that felted it, is like
it meant so much to me. It was pain that I was releasing and and those
that heard my screams actually healed the my pain. So thanks ya'll. One
love. Wether I blow up or not, ya'll made me feel like my dream has been
achieved. I got mines now go get yours. Gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
