Best
Swing Man SG/SF |
|
1.Jason Kidd-makes
his team and the players around him better. A great triple double
threat. The best assist man on the league right now. He also gets
rebounds and steals. A true point guard at his best.
|
|
1.Tracy Mcgrady-one
of the better defenders at this position. A great passer and play
maker for a shooting guard. Keeps his teammates involved yet he
scores his 20+ pts. A good rebounder too. A triple double threat
on a given night.
|
|
2.Gary Payton-If
it was two years ago or even last year I would have said Payton
over Kidd but age is taking a effect on GP. He's better defender
than Kidd, but not as a good passer but still one of the better
ones in the league. He has more offensive game than Kidd. But Kidd
is a better play maker.
|
|
2.Micheal Jordan-He
the best clutch shooter in the league. But he lost some of his speed,
quickness and hops that he use to have a few years ago. Therefore
Tmac goes above him. But he's a great passer, playmaker, and shooter.
One of the better defenders in the league. His leadership is limitless.
|
|
3.Steve Francis-one
of the most atheltic player in this position. A better passer than
Cassell and Marbury. He gets the offense going and knows how to
contol the tempo. His defense is mediocore
|
|
3.Kobe Bryant-A
great scorer but he lacks the defense, passing, and strength that
Jordan, Tmac has. Plus I question his clutch ablity. But he's got
the mental toughness and confidence to take over games.
|
|
4.Sam Cassell-a
pure shooter with deadly range. A clutch scorer. He's had great
success in the playoffs with the Rockets and Bucks. But not much
of a passer like the three above. Defense is lacking too.
|
|
4.Vince
Carter-He's the best dunker in this list. That's for sure. He's
got more strength than Kobe but he lacks the mental toughness and
he's a mediocore defender. |
|
5.Stephon Marbury-one
of the better scorers in the league at this position. Beat Nash
at #5 by a hair. Both lack the defensive skills. Thought Nash is
a better passer; Marbury has more scoring ablity than Nash. Plus
a better clutch scorer.
|
|
5.Paul Pierce-He
beat Ray Allen barely in my list. Sorry but Iverson takes too many
shots and makes only a certan percentage of them. Pierce and Allen
have better scoring %. But Pierce has the edge in his strength,
rebounding, and defense skills. Iverson & Allen gets eaten alive
at one on one defense. Plus Pierce gets his teammates involved,
something Iverson and Allen rarely do.
|
| Forwards/Big
men |
|
Center |
| 1.Duncun-the
best clutch shooter at this position. He's got a great shooting touch
for a big man. He's also a great rebounder and shot blocker. Plus
the best defender out of the five here. His mental toughness and clutch
performances are a rare find. |
|
1.S.Oneal-Duncun
is a true center but he's playing Pf behind D.Robinson. So I put
Shaq as first place. He's a great rebounder, shot blocker, and dunker.
But he lacks a shooting touch. Besides his usual hook shots, and
dunks...not a whole not in the arsenal.
|
|
2.Webber-another
great scorer. He's got the inside and outside game. But he's not
a good clutch performer. Remember the timeout he called on the Michigan
game?? Talk about mental lapse!
|
|
2.Mourning-the
best outside shooter at this position. He can hurt you inside or
outside. He's got great post moves, and he can hit his free throws.
He's a great defender, shot blocker and rebounder. But he's not
as strong as Shaq. Then again, no body is.
|
|
3.KG-Lacks the
strenght the other two big men up top have. But he's got great inside
and outside offensive game like Web and Duncun. He also posses great
shot blocking and rebounding ablity. He's keeps his teammates involved
and dishes out when he needs to.
|
|
3.Mutombo-Lacks
the offensive game that Oneal and Mourning has. But he's the best
shot blocker in the business. Plus one of the better rebounders
than most centers in the league. His defense is where his game is.
But he lacks the strengh that Shaq has (of course!)
|
|
4.Dirk Nowitzski-the
best shooter out of the five in there. He's also the only one that
can hit three pointers. A mediocore rebounder. But not a good defender
plus he lacks the physical play to keep up with the other elites.
But his offensive game is one of the best in the business.
|
|
4.J.Oneal-lack
the size but does a great job at the Center spot. He's got some
outside game, and a mediocore inside game. He's a great shot blocker,
rebounder. But he can also get careless at times due to lack of
experience. But in time he'll become one of the better centers of
the east.
|
|
5.Elton
Brand-he beat
Malone by a inch! If it was a year ago, then Malone would be in
here. But the great Power forward has declined cause of age. Brand
is a great post player, has some range with his outside shot, and
he's a 10 rbs per night type of guy. Lacks the defense and passing
ablilties that the other four have.
|
|
5.Ratliff-similar
to Mutombo. He lacks the offensive game. He's more of a 12 pts per
night type of guy. But he's got great defensive skills, rebounding,
and a great shot blocker.

| Bad
boys of NBA |
|
Ill
matic Dunkers |
|
1.R.Wallace-leads
the league in Techical fouls. He's been quiet this year but I ams
sure he'll go back to his old ways soon.
|
|
1.Vince
Carter-the best in the business. Anyone remember the slam dunk
contest?? Everyone was in shock that night, including myself. He's
not human |
|
2.Oakley- Raptors
got sick of his mouth, so they gave the dirty work to the Bulls.
Krause was stupid enough to trade for him. Now he's making the Bulls
locker room a living hell.
|
|
2.Darius
Miles-He jumps from mid court and still reaches the rim! Okay
that's a bit far fetched but you get the picture. He float into the
basket, then slams with authority.Put him in the dunk contest please!! |
|
3.Shaq-his shaq
fu skills are a joke. Swinging at a guy who had his back turned
and still missed?? Not only does he get the bad boy award but also
the cheap shot award too.
|
|
3.KG-he's
made some ill dunks over the years. His famous windmill dunk over
three defenders was crazy. |
|
4.Kenyon Martain-his
rough physical play nearly knocked T.Mcgrady and Malone to the ground.
Oh wait! He did knock them to the ground. Needs to keep those fists
in check.
|
|
4.Jamaal
Magloire-where did this guy come from? He's got some major ups.
He be dunking on guys like they're not even there. |
|
5.Pipen-he called
Barkley a lazy punk. Jordan a traitor. Phil Jackson a fake coach.
He didn't like Mike Dunleavy when he was coaching the Blazers either.
Notice how everyone else is the problem except him??
|
|
5.Kenyon Martain-thanks
to Kidd, we get to see some ill dunks from Martain. He use to do
them in college know that they got a true point guard in Kidd, he's
back to his dunking ways. Also look out for this kid named Gerald
Wallace from the Kings. He's got some killer dunks too.

| Pure
Shooters |
|
Most
under rated players |
1.Predrag
Stojakovic- use to be guys like Reggie Miller and Richmond but
now gotta give it to the Euro boys. This guy can shoot your eyes out
all day.
|
|
1.Elton Brand-he's
one of the elite power forwards in the NBA. He never got recognition
cause he was with the Bulls last two years and now with the Clippers.
But keep a eye on him, he's a superstar in the making.
|
|
2.Dirk Nowitzski-the
great thing about him is he's just as deadly as everyone else from
long range but he's a seven footer which makes it impossible to
block him.
|
|
2.Baron Davis-should
have made the all star team. He should be the one getting the star
status of the Hornets not Mashburn! If it wasn't for Davis, the
Hornets would not have gone far into the playoffs last year.
|
|
3.Ray Allen-mr.smooth,
he shoots with no emotion. His poker face style of play makes it
hard to predict when he's gonna shoot it. He's got a natural stroke
behind long range.
|
|
3.Andre Millar-a
great all star player on a sucky team. He's got Jason Kidd's passing
type skills with a great first step to the basket. His playmaking
and leadership is under rated. Plus he's a great scorer.
|
|
4.Steve Smith-one
of the old guys who still got the touch. He's been hitting from
downtown all his career and he's still doing it.
|
|
4.Shawn Marion-With
Marbury and Penny taking the glory, Marion doesn't get recognized
for his game. He's another elite forward out there, and a potential
all star. He's got great leaping ablities and can finish on the
fast break every time. He's got a good outside game, and his rebounding
is excellent for a guy his size.
|
|
5.Steve Nash-
gives more room on the open floor with his deadly shots. He can
flat out knock them down whenever he wants to.
|
|
5.Mike Bibby-He's
quietly making his mark with the Kings. He's been one of the great
point guards in the west but hardly got noticed cause of the Grizzles.
He's got great playmaking skills, leadership on the floor, and a
great assist man. He averaged 10 assists a game in his rookie season.
That's rare! He's got good long range shoots and the knack to get
to free throw line. Defense needs improvement but a great PG for
any team.
